Renewable Distributed Generation and Smart Control GEDIRCI

GEDIRCI is a consolidated multidisciplinary research group with senior and junior researchers and technicians willing to contribute to the development of more sustainable electricity supply systems, all over the world.

Taking into account that basic access to electricity is a right for all the inhabitants of the planet, and many commonly used electrification models,  make access difficult in rural areas.  GEDIRCI’s activity is mainly focused on active demand management with distributed PV and storage, generation and prediction of photovoltaic electricity in complex environments, photovoltaic solar potential on an urban scale: from buildings to cities, use of PV in thermal conditioning, quality assurance in decentralized photovoltaic applications, basic electrical services and generation revenue for developing countries and off-grid hybrid PV systems.
