Humanitarian Civil Engineering collaborates in projects for the transfer of appropriate technologies for supply systems and water quality, sanitation and hygiene. These projects have been carried out mainly in collaboration with other cooperation groups.

In addition, the members of the group have been involved in building or infrastructure projects using local knowledge and construction systems adapted to the area. Likewise, local labor and materials are encouraged to have an impact on an improvement in the economy of the region where they work.

ICS has developed its work through training and awareness for development (TFM, TFG and seminars), participation in technology transfer projects, support for sanitation projects in Tanzania, support for habitability projects with local materials in Kenya and Uganda, and technical assistance in Burundi.
