The LAC Platform constitutes a space for the exchange of knowledge and articulation of experiences between teachers, students and Administration and Services Personnel (PAS) from different cooperation groups of the Technical University of Madrid, with the purpose of developing a collaborative action strategy and multidisciplinary, in alliance with our local partners in the various countries, to promote sustainable development in the region.
Develop a collaborative action strategy in the UPM to contribute to sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean, through the analysis of the internal capacities of the UPM and its partners, and the priorities and potential of the region; as well as the implementation of technical and academic cooperation initiatives that increase the impact of the work of the UPM and its partners in this geographical area.
Identify the capacities of the UPM as a whole and of its partners, to promote sustainable development in LAC.
Identify the priorities and potential of the countries of the region.
Generate interdisciplinary work methodologies between UPM work groups that improve the impact of actions in LAC.
Consolidate and enhance the generation, management and transfer of knowledge for the sustainable development of Latin America and the Caribbean in a collaborative and holistic way, among the different disciplines that make up the Technical University of Madrid.
