Solidarity and Engineering

The Solidarity and Engineering Group is a cooperation group of the School of Civil Engineering (E.T.S.I. de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) of the Technical University of Madrid recognized in 2006. Their main objective is to promote social development in communities belonging to developing countries. It is made up of professors, researchers and collaborators whose main work lines are:

  • Humanitarian projects.
  • Teaching projects.
  • Collaboration with universities in developing countries through training and advanced courses for teachers and the quality of teaching.
  • Research projects. Collaboration with universities in developing countries through Master’s and Degree Dissertations.
  • Construction projects.
  • Supply and sanitation projects.
  • Creation and implementation, in the Civil Engineering School (E.T.S.I. de Caminos, Canales y Puertos ) of the Technical University of Madrid, of the “Di SI” Volunteer School.
