We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest article in the journal Sensors MDPI, titled “Monitoring and Ensuring Worker Health in Controlled Environments Using Economical Particle Sensors”. This is the first article where I am the corresponding author and first author.
This work is part of doctoral thesis of Juan Antonio Rodríguez Rama, through which he is building an innovation ecosystem (our ecosystem Tellus UPM) that combines sustainability and digital transformation as a vector for developing projects using university campuses as large scale experimental spaces.
This study paves the way for future research, although we emDphasize the need for local calibrations to ensure data reliability.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us and made this research possible, especially the Energy and Environment Chair of the Cátedra Fundación Cepsa at ETSIME-UPM Universidad Politécnica de Madrid for their support through the III Call for Research Project Grants for the 2022-2023 academic year, as well as the support received from the EELISA European University ESCE community and the Official Laboratory for Testing Construction Materials (LOEMCO).
