RSTI at the X National Conference on Cybersecurity Research

This last week, starting on the 4th of June, our research group attended the X edition of the JNIC (Jornadas Nacionales de Investigación en Ciberseguridad), organized by the University of Zaragoza.

On Thursday 5th, one of our representatives, Carmen Sánchez Zas, presented “ARGOS: Tool for the simulation of attack routes in cyber-situational awareness environments”. The following day it was Luis’ turn, who presented “Design and generation of a dataset for insider threat prevention and detection model training: SPEDIA dataset”.  The latter was developed under the SPEDIA project, financed by the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE).

Throughout the conference, our team had the opportunity to engage with all the teams leading the Spanish research on cybersecurity. Showing impactful work on recent interest areas as privacy and regulation, IA in cybersecurity, IoT, cryptography, cyberthreats and advanced detection or platforms and frameworks for cyberdefense. We would like to thank all the representatives of the University of Zaragoza for hosting the event and filling out the program with high level technical lectures.
