CITIES – Integral, Sustainable and Efficient Smart Cities

CITIES is a thematic network funded by CYTED (The Ibero-American Programme for the Development of Science and Technology) which involves professors, researchers, and practitioners from 15 countries, namely: Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, España, Mexico, Nicaragua, Perú, Portugal, R. Dominicana, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

The main goal of CITIES is to foster the development of a methodology for strategic planning which helps transforming current cities into sustainable cities by means of the cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experiences between the research groups involved in the project.
