After some hours in the plane…the students arrived in Shanghai very early in the morning, one hour before the prevision, 6:10 am local time. Madrid-Shanghai in 12 hours…isn´t it awesome!!??
They were very tired but, their faces were full of curiosity and they had a lot of questions to do!
After the first group picture in China we went straight to the Maglev. They expect it to be the fastest train in the world but… it was´t that day. It was not over 305km/h so it was little disappointing for some them. Anyway the feeling is different so they enjoyed it!
Some physical difficulties due to the fact that we went to the University by subway, so we had to go up and down some stairs…and it was hot as Shanghai summer is, but it was the perfect dessert for the tiring trip and a perfect way to start understanding China environment.
Finally: Tongji University.
After finding accommodation and trying some traditional chinese snacks we had a welcome meeting.
We discovered Tongji University Campus and, to end the exciting day, we had dinner together, the perfect plan for start knowing better each other!
