Future Network Academy
The Future Networks Academy (FNA) project is a forward-thinking initiative that unites six prominent universities with the common goal of democratizing access to state-of-the-art technology in the field of future networks, with a specific focus on 5G and beyond.
FNA aims to establish a micro-credential platform that offers comprehensive training in the development and deployment of new networks. This platform seeks to enhance industry competitiveness, improve network security, explore the impact of 5G on innovation, and foster trust among stakeholders. One of FNA’s key strengths lies in its trans-disciplinary approach, which actively engages a wide range of stakeholders, including students, researchers, teachers, businesses, decision-makers, and citizens, to promote inclusive dialogue and collaboration.
By bridging knowledge gaps within the academic community and preparing students for the IT networks job market, FNA strives to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that strike a balance between technical advancement and practical implementation.
The RSTI research group contribute to FNA project consortium by its extensive experience in the development of 5G Test Beds and strong teaching capabilities.
