The Nedgia Seminars on Circular Economy and Green Gases, hosted by Nedgia in collaboration with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and the EELISA Circular Community, form part of the Master’s in Circular Economy and the AMIR Master programs.
This one-day event aims to provide a comprehensive overview of renewable gases, focusing on biomethane and green hydrogen as key enablers of a sustainable, low-carbon circular economy. The seminar brings together experts from Nedgia and academia to discuss the international and national regulatory frameworks, technological advances, and social applications of green gases.
The program includes:
- Morning sessions on the international framework, Spanish regulation, and biomethane fundamentals.
- A technical visit to the Valdemingómez Technology Park, including the biomethane production and injection plant (only for participants attending in person).
- Afternoon sessions exploring hydrogen blending technologies and real-world applications of green gases across sectors.
- A Team Challenge, where participants will design a business plan for a green gas production plant, under dual academic and professional supervision.
Participants will receive the EELISA badge, which includes SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy), SDG 9 (Industry, innovation, and infrastructure) and SDG 11 (Sustainable cities and communities).
