College campuses are intended priority to promote the interrelationship of their schools and colleges, university research institutes, R & D and other members units, the same for the development of teaching and research activities, rationalizing the use and maintenance of common resources and favoring the delivery of services to the university community.
There are four Campuses in Madrid: University City Campus, City Centre Campus, Montegancedo Campus and South Campus.
In this map, the stations corresponding to Schools of UPM (UPM does not have one single campus but it is spread around the city) are marked in brown color with a list of the Schools close to the specific metro station (the full list of Schools is at the bottom right corner of the first page):
Accomodation
UPM does not manage accommodation for students, although there is information available and several offers about different types of accommodation in Student Mobility Office or International Relations Target Center.
Terms dates and calendars
— Classes begin: second half of September. Classes end: last week of May
— First term:
- Classes: September – January
- Examinations: first half of January – mid February
— Second term:
- Classes: February – early June
- Examinations: June
— Extraordinary exams period: first half of July
— Holidays periods during the academic year:
- Christmas: last week of December and first week of January
- Easter: one week in March
Clubs/Student organizations
Currently, there are many UPM active associations that develop their activities in different fields.
