Kaspersky Cyberday at UPM
Kaspersky Cyber Days is a unique one-day event offering expertise and an opportunity for students to learn from the best in the business The event brings together students, educators, IT security experts, analysts and industry professionals and consists of the next activities:
- Conference about current and future cyberthreats landscape, but a Kasperksy Labs reserarcher, member of the GReAT (Global Research and Analysys Team)
- Kaspersky Interactive Protection Simulation (KIPS) training: KIPS demonstrates the real role played by cybersecurity in business continuity and profitability The simulation spotlights emerging challenges and current threats, examines typical mistakes companies make when creating and enforcing a cybersecurity strategy, and illustrates how business units and IT security teams need to work together to keep enterprise operations running smoothly and resiliently in the face of cyberthreats.
The Kaspersky Cyberday was held on April 25th, in the ETSIT premises at UPM, with the attendance of 90 students, who were organized in 15 teams for the KIPS training.
The event was organized by Kaspersky and the RSTI Group professor Víctor Villagrá, as Director of the UPM Cybersecurity Master Programme.
