Yesterday, the round-table “RETOMadrID: Innovation that connects and transforms rural lives” took place within the framework “Science and Innovation Week” by @comunidadmadrid at @etsimeupm.

The round table focused on explaining the digital literacy project in municipalities with fewer than 20,000 residents in the Community of Madrid and brought together important stakeholders for its development, including @comunidadmadrid team and @somosupm, responsible for the municipalities we are already working with as facilitators, as well as, needless to say, our course alumni.

It was an awesome meeting in which we heard participants’ voices expressing their interest in making dissappear the digital gap in the population, especially among vulnerable groups such as our older adults and immigrants with little or no access to technology. The closing ceremony featured the presence of @javi.carazo, General Director for Territorial Rebalance in the Community of Madrid.
