IE2020 Virtual Celebration Announcement

Given the significant uncertainties on how the global situation will evolve due to COVID-19, and after evaluating the announcements, guidance, and news released by IEEE and relevant national and international agencies:

IE2020 Organizing Committee had decided to confirm the conference, but make it fully “virtual” using pre-recorded video presentations, without any physical participation of attendees. In addition conference celebration will be delayed to 20-23 July, 2020.

Virtual celebration of the conference ensures that presented papers can be published in IEEE Xplore. Authors will have to prepare and submit a presentation video. Conference registrants will be able to view slides over a 4 day period and interact with posted questions. Registration fees will be re-done to mainly finance publication fees.

IE2020

Intelligent Environments (IE) refer to physical spaces in which IT and other pervasive computing technology are woven and used to achieve specific goals for the user, the environment or both. IEs have the ultimate objective of enriching user experience, better manage, and increase user awareness of that environment. The 16th International Conference on Intelligent Environments (IE2020) will be held at the city of Madrid, the capital of Spain.

The Call for Papers is accesible HERE. If you need more information about the conference, please do not hesitate to ask.
