The first activity carried out within the EELISA-on-the-MOVE protocommunity was a 2 day long hackathon (21/05/2021-22/05/2021) coordinated by professor Fabián García Pastor (EEMOVE member). This flagship project was oriented to collective thinking between over 150 students, scholars and other stakeholders to map potential urban mobility problems, and most innovatively, to design solutions to overcome them.
The winning proposal, “METRO-PAQ” designed a sustainable goods distribution system that used the existing Metro infrastructure during the time intervals it is not open to users . They were given with a gift-voucher worth 600€.
