The third activity of the second call of EElisa on-the-move was atwo day hackaton (18th and 25th of May 2022) regarding the use of big data and privacy coordinated by Professor Fabián García Pastor. The first day (18th May), challenges were presented to the students participating by collaborators from IBM, PwC, Human Trends, OdiseIA and TransyT (UPM).
The second day (25th May), students presented their proposals and solutions. Mentorized by Oscar Martinez from TransyT / EELisa on-the-Move, groups 5 and 6 worked on Big Data and its application to urban mobility. Among other interesting ideas from all groups, Group 5 included a proposal regarding the use of big data for improving access in public transport to disabled people, in order to achieve SDG 11.
