I am student of Amir master program and currently following second year of the program. My background is chemistry and my first year of master was dedicated to material science. My internships this year were committed to Life cycle assessment and Material flow analysis and that’s why I decided to chose circular economy for second year of my master.

I am a mechanical engineer with a master’s double degree in Advanced Materials: Innovative Recycling (AMIR) from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Circular Economy of the construction sector from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Since 2016, I have been moving around Europe from Hungary to Portugal and currently Spain, pursuing my academic and professional career. Honesty, determination and passion are the competences that made me who I am today. In addition to, eagerness to learn, problem-solving skills and creativity, which in my humble opinion, are very important qualities.

I am Clara García Jiménez and I am a student of the Master in Circular Economy in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, after finishing a degree on Environmental Engineering in the same university.
Since November of 2018, I complement my time working as an indefinite worker in a renewable energy company, mainly dedicated to the installation and maintenance of biomass and photovoltaic systems, as well as the distribution of wood pellets.
In the future, I look forward to work in a waste management plant being able to apply my knowledge on the best utilization of the waste possible to use it as a raw material. At the same time, I would love to be able to spread awareness and share information about circular economy.

Hi there! I am Carlos Pérez and I am currently studying the master degree of Circular Economy by the UPM, speciliaty of Minerals and Construction Products. In addition, I am a Materials Engineer from the same university.
I do not have experience on working with contruction related topics, but I find it really appealing.
About my digital identity, I am little aware of it. In my personal social networks I am less concerned whereas in professional ones, like Linkedin, I try to be more serious.
Concerning the PLE, I think it may be very useful to know and understand it, so it is a good moment for getting in touch with it.

Hello everyone,
My name is Aria Sharifi and I am a student of the master level in Circular Economy: Specialty mineral and construction products in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).
In terms of my educational background, I graduated in Civil Engineering from Islamic Azad University (IAU) and also have a master’s degree in Civil Engineering: Specialty in soil and foundation from Pardisan University in my country, Iran.
However, I have a few years’ experience in the construction and renovation sector as an engineer, but it did not satisfy me because of lacking knowledge, and most of the projects have not been performed by the latest technology in Iran. So I have decided to improve my previous knowledge and experiences through a circular economy.
To be honest, I do not know a lot about the personal learning environment (PLE) and digital identity (DI), maybe some basic definition. I am not only really fond of learning about these subjects, but also I try my best to apply it in every aspect of my career.
