My name is Julia Mollá López and I am a student of the Master’s Degree in Circular Economy by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. In addition, I graduated in 2021 in Environmental Engineering from the same university.

At the moment, I am currently working in DH Eco Energías, dedicated to the implementation of district heating systems based on renewable energies in several municipalities in Spain.

Circular economy appeals to me because of its rising visibility and promising projection. I strongly believe in the advantages that would arise from changing the economic and production model we know today towards a sustainable one. However, I am particularly moved by the necessity of taking action towards educating and spreading awareness of the matter. It seems more than relevant to me that, in order to achieve constant and secure progress, we should build a wider social consciousness about the potential flexibility of our production system. I would be more than content if I could be able to contribute to this cause and culturally promote sustainability as a feasible prospect.

I am student of Amir master program and currently following second year of the program. My background is chemistry and my first year of master was dedicated to material science. My internships this year were committed to Life cycle assessment and Material flow analysis and that’s why I decided to chose circular economy for second year of my master.

Clara García

I am Clara García Jiménez and I am a student of the Master in Circular Economy in the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, after finishing a degree on Environmental Engineering in the same university.

Since November of 2018, I complement my time working as an indefinite worker in a renewable energy company, mainly dedicated to the installation and maintenance of biomass and photovoltaic systems, as well as the distribution of wood pellets.

In the future, I look forward to work in a waste management plant being able to apply my knowledge on the best utilization of the waste possible to use it as a raw material. At the same time, I would love to be able to spread awareness and share information about circular economy.

I am Hải Hà, one of the students in the first class of Master in Circular Economy ever offered by the UPM. With a strong background in Environmental Engineering, I chose the speciality of Mineral and Industrial products in order to get a more holistic inside of different industrial sectors.

My field of interests has gradually expanded as more and more knowledge obtained during the course. Right now, my special attention resides in LCA projects of industrial products. 

I am eager to learn so much more!

Carlos Pérez

Hi there! I am Carlos Pérez and I am currently studying the master degree of Circular Economy by the UPM, speciliaty of Minerals and Construction Products. In addition, I am a Materials Engineer from the same university.

I do not have experience on working with contruction related topics, but I find it really appealing.

About my digital identity, I am little aware of it. In my personal social networks I am less concerned whereas in professional ones, like Linkedin, I try to be more serious.

Concerning the PLE, I think it may be very useful to know and understand it, so it is a good moment for getting in touch with it.
