Hello Everyone,
My name is Shubhanshu Singh and I am posting my Final work for this amazing course. I hope you will like it.
During the T4PDC, I completed the following two courses.
MOOC – 1 – Introduction to Personal Branding
This course was provided by the University of Virginia on the Coursera platform.
Following are the key points that I learnt from the course –
The course has encouraged me to start using Twitter in a more efficient way and the following are some point which makes Twitter stand along from other platforms –
The 80/20 rule: 80% of what you put out on social media should be content that is of interest to the people who follow you. 20% should be self-promotion.
And one of the most important segments of this MOOC was to find your three cornerstone words and state them in your mission statement. So, my three cornerstone words are Peace, happiness and help and my mission statement is “I want to bring peace and happiness into people’s life by helping them with my Academic and personal knowledge”
MOOC – 2 Circular economy: An introduction
This course was provided by the Delft University of Technology on the edx platform.
Following are the key point I learnt from the course –
The course emphasises shifts to a system where we can regenerate natural systems, design out waste and pollution and keep products and materials in use.
The following are business Values that we get from the circular economy –
I also loved the example of FAIRPHONE who are working very greatly in the extension of product lifespan by –
And, the main takeaway for me was the ” inertia Principle” which states that ” Do not repair what is not broken, do not remanufacture something that can be repaired, do not recycle a product that can be remanufactured and replace or treat only the smallest possible part in order to maintain the existing economic”
These two MOOC Courses have also helped to improve my Personal Learning Environment as now I have started using edx also.
Hello everyone, My name is Shubhanshu Singh.
Digital Identity is our online identity and has everything that we do online. It becomes essential for us to represent ourselves better than in the past. I have been using Facebook for the last 10 years and I have posted something that I do not dare to put now. A few years back I never used to think about the effect that these posts can have. But as now, I have the knowledge, I am going to represent myself in a better way so that it can also help in my professional life and growth. I have made some goals and activities that I will do which I have added to my DIP.
Hello Everyone, My name is Shubhanshu.
This is my Personal Learning Environment. These are my most used tool, which helps me in learning things. My first PLA had some problems like the categories was not appropriately organised and the organization of all application was not good.
In my Improved PLA, I tried to Organize the categories in the proper way and have also added some new applications.
During the final stage of my schooling, I was clueless about my future. I was looking for different options by which I can really contribute the society on the ground level. One day, while I was scrolling through youtube, I saw a video about the brutal effect of litter on animals. That day I decided to study more about polymers, so I chose polymer Science for my bachelor’s. My Bachelor helped me in realizing one thing that plastic is not the main problem, but its mismanagement is a real concern to society. And that realization helped to identify my professional goal.
After finishing my bachelor, I chose the AMIR programme to learn about more ways to manage all the waste properly and clearly.
As I am learning more about the circular economy, I am going to apply my knowledge about circularity to reduce waste generation in the first place and identify new innovative ways to utilize waste. I see myself working in the waste industry, learning more about waste, learning more ways to deal with the generated waste and making more effort in its management.
Hello Everyone,
My name is Shubhanshu Singh and I am from India. I hold a bachelor’s in Polymer Science and currently pursuing my Master’s in Advance Material: Innovative recycling. I completed my first year of my master’s in a beautiful city of Hungary, Miskolc with a specialization in Polymers and currently studying in my dream city, Madrid with a specialization in Circular economy.
I have a great interest in polymer recycling and I want to use my current growing knowledge about the Circular economy in the polymer industry. I am also passionate about renewable energies and waste management in developing countries.
And being from India, I love playing Cricket and as staying in Europe I have also started playing football. In my free time, I usually play FIFA with my friends.
