My Personal Learning Environment

You can find below my initial Personal Learning Environment (PLE) and the improved one that represent tools I use all the time for searching, learning, organize my work, communicate, create and where I find my inspiration daily.

My improved PLE represent the target I want to reach in the future. I want to enhance and expand my tools such as ones for searching, learning and organization and make them more professional. I also add OpenLCA which is a software I will probably use very often if I get the job that I want. Same for edit software.

Personal reflection on the professional future

About my professional future, after my master’s degree I don’t want to do a PhD and work on R&D. I’d rather work in a company where sustainability and environmental transition are fundamental values, as they are to me.

Even if I still haven’t decided the specific field I’m interested in, I know that I want to take part in the improvement of a better world, in a social and ecological way. As nowadays it’s economy and money that makes the word, we have to change it and bring ecological concept into the linear economy.

One of my possible ideas for my future will be to advice and support companies to a environmental transition.

I know that I wouldn’t have the same job for the rest of my life. Maybe later, with enough money, I will open an animal sanctuary or I will travel the world to help people who need it.

But for now, I just want to get my master’s degree and find a good internship in a company that I am interested in and passionate about and maybe, if things go well, continue to work with them for the future.

Personal presentation

My name is Gwladys Grelon from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. After highschool, I started my bachelor in chemistry at the University of Bordeaux and I continued to study chemistry by joining the AMIR master. I did my first year of this master in Bordeaux and I’m now in Madrid to finish it.

I don’t wish to do a PhD but to start working in a company after my master’s degree.

I am not sure about the exact position I want, but I know that guiding compagnies to an environmental transition is something important to me. I want to have an impact and know that maybe I can help people and especially the planet, as well as animals that live there.

In a more personal description, I’m an introverted person that likes animals, especially cats (my cat), reads books, plays video games and loves sugar. And sometimes, I like to go out with friends and drink sugary drinks.
