After attending Coursera’s “Personal Branding”

Coursera’s “Personal Branding” course helped me greatly to systematically develop PLE and Digital Identity Plan. Through this course, I learned to clearly know my strengths, passion, and values. In particular, I realized the importance of networking and was able to effectively expand my learning resources by interacting with experts on platforms such as LinkedIn. In addition, I was able to increase learning efficiency and design PLE more systematically by utilizing the productivity tools and time management strategies recommended in the lecture.

  1. SWOT Analysis: It helped me set the strategic direction of digital identity by analyzing my own strengths and weaknesses.
  2. Content Strategy Development: Through the ’80/20 Content Law’ proposed in the course, 80% of social media content communicates useful information and value, and 20% is organized by promoting my brand.

By applying the storytelling skills I learned in the course, I improved my career and strengths, and reorganized my content to deliver consistent messages on social media and various platforms.

In addition, I have established a system to explore opportunities for collaboration, evaluate my digital identity periodically, and continuously develop through digital networking strategies.

This course has become an important class to strengthen my personal brand, providing practical tools and framework beyond simple theories.

Personal reflection on the professional future : # MiEmpleoMiFuturo

Watching #MiEmpleoMiFuturo videos has prompted me to reflect on my career path.

The first video emphasizes the importance of personal growth and goal-setting. Through this video, I’ve come to appreciate the need to continuously develop my skills and prepare for the future.

Given my interest in the circular economy and sustainable construction, such growth is essential. As the construction industry increasingly shifts towards environmentally friendly and sustainable practices, I aim to strengthen my expertise in this field and utilize the latest technologies to make a positive environmental impact.

The second video presents a positive approach to challenges and failures, highlighting the importance of accepting failure as part of the learning process. Watching this, I was reminded of the saying, “Failure is the mother of success.” I know that in my future career, as I explore new technologies and methods, there may be instances of failure. However, I am committed to using those experiences to develop better solutions. Introducing new concepts like the circular economy in the construction industry requires a learning process with multiple trials. Therefore, I aspire to be a professional who embraces setbacks as opportunities for growth and seeks creative, sustainable solutions.

These two videos have helped me redefine my vision for the future, reinforcing my belief that a spirit of challenge and continuous learning will be invaluable assets in my career.

Introduction of myself : JIWON LEE

Hello everyone, nice to meet you.
My name is Lee Ji-won, and I’m from South Korea.
I graduated with a degree in Architectural Engineering in South Korea. After graduation, I completed a six-month internship at KPC, a construction certification company in Korea that specializes in eco-friendly certification. Following this, I worked for three years at a construction firm.

During my internship and time at the company, I encountered various issues, such as eco-friendly materials and recycling problems at construction sites, which naturally led me to consider the concept of a Circular Economy.

Driven by a desire to learn and grow, I wanted to study in a place with a greater focus on environmental sustainability than in Korea.
So now I am here at UPM in Madrid, pursuing my Master’s degree in Circular Economy.
