Overview of the Course:
This MOOC introduced the foundational concepts of the Circular Economy (CE), focusing on how resources can be reused, recycled, and sustained to minimize waste and environmental impact. The course emphasized innovation in sustainable design, resource management, and systems thinking to address global challenges.
Relevance to Personal Learning Environment (PLE):
- Sustainability Tools: The course introduced practical tools like SimaPro, PlanA, and OneClick LCA, which are essential for analyzing environmental impact. These tools have been integrated into my intended PLE to evaluate emissions and promote eco-friendly practices.
- Research Applications: Leveraged platforms like ScienceDirect to access academic journals and improve understanding of CE practices, enriching my research tools component in the PLE.
- Outcomes:
- Gained knowledge of closed-loop systems and sustainable innovation.
- Achieved a final grade of 93%, demonstrating my strong grasp of the subject.
