The following image shows my PLE, both the current and the target one. The added tools have a red label of “NEW”.

The objectives with this PLE are to improve my productivity and organisation mainly. So it is meant to be professional but also personal. Besides, I think it will help me carrying out tasks at the present master and also my internship (and future jobs).

As it can be seen, it is divided in four parts, answering the questions that we reviewed during the classes.

Searching and learning: I usually use Google Scholar for finding scientific articles, and typically I end up on Science Direct searching similar articles to the one I found on Google. I want to start using Research Gate as a new tool for finding easily more articles or ideas. I had used once EDX courses, but during this subject I have discovered Coursera. In the case of Youtube, I watch several tutorials or explanations of topics that I did not understand in class.

Storing and organising: I already used Drive with my classmates and Zotero for adding citations to my Word documents. Also, I used Keep as a reminder. I want to use Pocket for reading interesting items when I have more free time and Evernote for taking notes and have them organised.

Creating and editing content: As usually, I like to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) for many assigments and works. In this subject, I have discovered WordPress and I expect to use it more.

Sharing and comunicating: I use Moodle for posting the tasks demanded by teachers. Social networks such as Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin for connecting with people and for sharing my ideas. And I want to use Medium as a way of posting new topics and finding interesting info.
