CYBER CITYZEN, an Awareness Initiative for Digital Security

On Friday, February 21, 2025, we had the opportunity to welcome our colleagues from Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland) and host a workshop on the importance of cybersecurity awareness for society as a whole, within the framework of the Cyber Citizen Project, funded by the European Community.

It was an excellent occasion to share experiences from other RSTI group projects, such as Spedia or Ramones, which shared similarities.

In our society, each age group has its own specific challenges and requires different awareness and education methods, but they all share the same goal: to feel safe, have resources, and not feel helpless in a constantly evolving world with new digital threats and challenges. Recently developed technologies for privacy protection, such as password managers, have become essential, and it is crucial to establish effective channels to reach everyone.
