Our Participation at the XVIII Spanish Reunion on Cryptology and Information Security
This last week, starting on the 23rd of October, our research group attended the XVIII edition of the RECSI (Reunión Española de Criptología y Seguridad de la Información), organized by the University of León.
On Friday 25th, our representative, Luis Pérez Miguel, presented our “Proposal of an Ontology for Insider Risk Management and Treatment”. A proposed ontological framework that implements the ITSRM methodology proposed by ENISA as a flexible knowledge base that allows the inference and evaluation of possible risks in reaction to the events captured by the suspected insider users. Developed under the SPEDIA project, financed by the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE).
Throughout the conference, our team had the opportunity to engage with all the teams leading the Spanish research on information security. Showing impactful work on recent interest areas as the development of post-quantum cryptography protocols and tools, and the applications of AI on cybersecurity. We would like to thank all the representatives of the University of Leon for hosting the event and filling out the program with high level technical lectures.
