Innovating Together: UPM and Indra Kick Off FCAS – Risk Assessment Framework Development

On October 2, the kick-off event of the FCAS – Risk Assessment Framework Development project was held. The meeting took place at Indra’s facilities in Madrid and was attended by the main representatives of all the entities involved in the project.

During this initial session, the objective and scope of the project were presented, as well as the team that will be in charge of its development and the planning of the key phases. First, Victor A. Villagrá introduced the RSTI research group, highlighting its areas of research, developed projects as well as the groups technological capabilities.

Subsequently, our colleague Carmen Sanchez Zas presented the technical aspects of the project, detailing the general structure of the proposed solution. During this presentation, she outlined the key modules that will make up the dynamic risk assessment framework and discussed emerging technologies that could be implemented.

Finally, our colleague Oscar Jover Walsh presented the main project management plan, focusing on the duration of the project, the objectives to be met in each phase as well as the team management. Mechanisms to monitor and control the development of the project were also addressed.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, where participants were able to discuss their concerns and expectations, reinforcing the commitment of all parties towards the success of the project.
