e-Voting
The e-Voting project is a technologic consultancy with Minsait company to audit the security of their Telematic eVoting system and to improve the performance of the system.
The eVoting system:
- uses homomorphic encryption to avoid high resource consuming mix-nets,
- and provides security to the voters which may be coerced to vote some particular option.
Most of the efforts are centered in the client performance and the non-interactive zero knowledge proofs when the vote is sent to the server.
The RSTI research team is focused in the ZKPs, and Pedro Castillejo Parrilla (ETSIST UPM) together with Alfonso Muñoz (cryptocert.es) are focused in the security auditing of the evoting system.
