SEGUR@ – Security and Trust in the Information Society

The SEGUR@ Project (Spanish National Research program), leaded by Telefonica I+D, is a huge project for defining and implementing different aspects of cybersecurity and cyberdefence. The RSTI-UPM participation was focused on:

  • Application of formal information and behaviour definitions based on ontologies for managing an IRS (Intrusion Response System), which can be used as a CyberDefense toolkit. The work in this project allowed designing a generic Autonomous Intrusion Response System based on Autonomic Management Technologies, and the definition of a formal Information and Behavior model for the intrusions and model knowledge based on Ontologies and Formal Behavior Definition Languages
  • Security in IMS and VoIP environments
  • Network Access Control systems.
  • Use of ontologies for sharing of security information across different domains.
