On Wednesday, May 14th, IES PhD candidate Ms. Aitana Cano, participated in the GREENER2GETHER project, part of the ERASMUS+ program, at the Instituto de Educación Secundaria Ramón y Cajal in Zaragoza.
Aitana brought photovoltaics closer to high school students through a presentation on the fundamentals of solar energy, followed by a hands-on activity featuring a photovoltaic-powered irrigation system.
It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with curious and motivated students, share insights into how solar energy works, and explore real-world applications.
Their interest and thoughtful questions reaffirmed how important it is to make science and technology accessible to younger generations. Hopefully, we planted a few seeds for future engineers and scientists or at the very least, more energy-conscious citizens.

Huge thanks to the school for the warm welcome and to everyone who took part!
