Mihaela Amalia Diminescu, Ph.D., graduated in 2000 from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB), Faculty of Energy Engineering, specialization in Environmental Engineering in Energy. În 2012 she obtained the PhD degree in Energy Engineering. Also, in 2014 graduated Advanced Studies in Energy and a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, specialization Control Analytical Environmental Quality and Pollution Techniques in 2014.
Currently she is Lecurer at Department of Hydraulic, Hydraulics Machinery and Environmental Engineering of UPB. Her expertise and research areas include Pollution of Rivers and Groundwater; Groundwater Hydrodynamics; Water Dynamics in Saturated and Unsaturated Porous Environments, The Impact of Energy On Groundwater Quality, Climate Change, Environmental Management, Water and Soil Quality and Hydropower Engineering.
She is co-author of more than 11 books and 25 scientific papers indexed in Web of Science and other scientific databases, team leader in 1 project and member in 12 national/ international projects.
