Annette Madelene DĂNCILĂ is PhD. Eng. in chemical engineering on the topic “Residual Gas Purification Processes on Mixed Oxides”. She is a Lecturer in the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Engineering Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnologies– University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. She is a researcher of 18 projects at the national and EU level. She is the author of more than 20 papers about environmental protection for the removal of heavy metals from wastewater, and the preparation of H2S retention materials from waste gases. She is a foundation member of InterMEDIU Information and Consulting Center – Bucharest, a Science Shop from the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnologies. It was founded as a non-profit organization, in 2002, by the rector of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest decision. InterMEDIU is an interface between the university and society to answer the questions raised by it and support civil society by offering to civil society information, consultancy, and research in the field of environmental protection.
