Ayşegül Akçay Kavakoğlu is an assistant professor at the ITU Department of Landscape Architecture. Her research interests involve design process, computational design, representation and moving image studies. She holds a BArch from DEU, and a MArch degree from METU. She was at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’architecture de Paris-Belleville during her master studies. She got her Ph.D. in architecture from METU on computational design. She works on various architectural design projects and has been awarded in national architecture competitions. She is Design Advisory Committee Member at IT Valley, Turkey and Advisory Board Member at AMPS International Research Organization.
