Justo García-Navarro is PhD in Architecture and Full Professor in Agroforestry Engineering at the School of Agricultural, Food and Biosystems Engineering, of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, UPM. He has worked as researcher and head researcher in more than 50 R&D and educational projects (both at national and EU level). He is author of more than 100 scientific papers and books on building sustainability. Since 2009, he is Director of the UPM Research Group “Sustainability in Construction and Industry”, giSCI. Responsible for various master’s programmes at UPM, he currently coordinates the Master’s Degree in Circular Economy of Minerals and Construction Products, an inter-centres master program also linked to the European Master Programme in Advanced Materials Innovative Recycling, AMIR, funded and labelled by EIT RAW MATERIALS. Within the AMIR framework, UPM offers a Double Master’s Degree with Université de Bordeaux (FR), Universidade Nova de Lisboa (PT) and Miskolci Egyetem (University of Miskolc, HU).
