Valentine Perrin is a designer graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay. She joined the d.school as part of the Ecole des Ponts ParisTech department, where she is responsible for developing expertise in sustainable design, which feeds into a personal reflection on the role and the skills of a designer/engineer in a context of crisis.
Her background is based on a multi-faceted and complementary approach to the discipline, covering products, services and research. Her background has enabled her to master the different approaches to design and to exploit them to respond to societal challenges.
