Description
The European Researchers’ Night is a Europe-wide public event, which displays the diversity of science and its impact on citizens’ daily lives in fun, inspiring ways.
The EELISA Circular Community organized in September the activity “3VIA 2022: A trivia night on the circular economy” as part of the European Researchers’ Night. 3VIA was jointly undertaken by the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid, the Istanbul Technical University and the Universitatea Politehnica din București.
This event was both an educational and networking opportunity for European university and high school students. The parkour aimed at raising awareness on Circular Economy through the completion of three pedagogical challenges (Puzzle!, Earth’s Defenders, and 3R Pictionary). Up to 57 participants (among them, 35 students) joined the event and formed groups to solve the proposed challenges and to use their creativity in order to address sustainability problems with a Circular Economy mindset. At the end of the event, the organizers presented the participants the EELISA Alliance.

Infographics Workshop #1
Circular infographics design workshop #1 was the first of three planned workshops in which the participants collaborated in international and interdisciplinary groups to define a theme, collect data-based evidence, and produce context and messages to convey to the public in the form of an infographic about the circular economy.
Multiple infographics teams worked simultaneously over the course of a week over 2-3 online meetings. Each team consisted of 2-3 interested students, one professor/researcher from a Circular EELISA Community partner university, and one graphic design facilitator who is an undergraduate student in a member university.
