The UPM Microelectronics initiative (µe-UPM) is the association of research centers and institutes of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Technical University of Madrid) that carry out activities related to microelectronics and semiconductor technology. It is a group of 200+ researchers, 7 centers and institutes, 5 colleges and numerous laboratories with over 100 Million Euros in equipment and infrastructure.

The objective of µe-UPM is to structure and energize teaching and research activities in these areas and disseminate a unique corporate image, both towards public administrations and companies, with the overarching goal of facilitating the implementation of ambitious R&D projects and training activities in this area.
