During the final stage of my schooling, I was clueless about my future. I was looking for different options by which I can really contribute the society on the ground level. One day, while I was scrolling through youtube, I saw a video about the brutal effect of litter on animals. That day I decided to study more about polymers, so I chose polymer Science for my bachelor’s. My Bachelor helped me in realizing one thing that plastic is not the main problem, but its mismanagement is a real concern to society. And that realization helped to identify my professional goal.
After finishing my bachelor, I chose the AMIR programme to learn about more ways to manage all the waste properly and clearly.
As I am learning more about the circular economy, I am going to apply my knowledge about circularity to reduce waste generation in the first place and identify new innovative ways to utilize waste. I see myself working in the waste industry, learning more about waste, learning more ways to deal with the generated waste and making more effort in its management.
