MASTER BASIC ACCREDITATION INFORMATION

El Máster Universitario en Energía Solar Fotovoltaica participa en el proceso de Renovación de la Acreditación 2025-26 que gestiona la Fundación para el conocimiento Madri+d

El máster presentó ante la Fundación Madri+d el informe de autoevaluación, en marzo de 2026 y recibirá durante el mes de junio la visita del panel de expertos asignado por la agencia evaluadora, en el transcurso de la convocatoria de 2025/26 del proceso de renovación de la acreditación.

El informe de autoevaluación supone un análisis del grado de cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad establecidos por la agencia autonómica, en línea con el marco normativo y cultural nacional y europeo en materia de calidad.

Tal como indica la Fundación Madri+d que gestiona este proceso, y con el fin de que en el mismo pueda participar cualquier persona que lo desee.

– A través del siguiente enlace se puede acceder al FORMULARIO AUDIENCIA ABIERTA, mediante el que cualquier persona interesada puede emitir su opinión sobre cualquier aspecto relacionado con un determinado título oficial que está siendo objeto de evaluación para renovar su acreditación.

Las opiniones recabadas por la Fundación Madri+d, destinataria del formulario, serán puestas a disposición de los miembros del Panel de expertos que realiza la evaluación para la Renovación de la acreditación de cada título, una semana antes de la visita externa.

El proceso de análisis de los datos y redacción del autoinforme para la renovación de la acreditación del máster ha sido realizado principalmente por una comisión constituida específicamente para este fin. Su composición es:

También ha recibido apoyo del personal de la Unidad de Calidad, dependiente del Vicerrectorado de Calidad y Eficiencia de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).

Accreditation and Verification

The Master of Science in Photovoltaic Solar Energy (MUESFV) from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid is a post-graduate program officially registered in Spain in the Registro de Universidades, Centros y Títulos (RUCT).

The current version of the MUESFV program was verified by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) in 2022. The current version of the verification report can be consulted at the following link:

The Master’s Degree in Photovoltaic Solar Energy received its first accreditation in the 2008–2009 academic year for the 120 ECTS version, and in 2010–2011 for the 60 ECTS version. Since then, it has undergone successive positive evaluations as part of the mandatory periodic renewal processes.

The most recent favorable report was issued on February 4, 2021, by Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d.

The program is managed by the Solar Energy Institute, with internal UPM codes Plan 09AM and Code 9.5.

Management body

The Academic Commission of the Program (CAP) serves as the governing body of the Master’s in Photovoltaic Solar Energy and is composed of all faculty members involved in the program. The CAP addresses key matters related to the Master’s program in regular meetings held at least twice a year.

Day-to-day management is delegated to the Master’s Management Committee (CGEM), which consists of three members appointed by the CAP. The current members of the CGEM are:

The CGEM is in charge of:

Admission management
Course supervision
Elaboration of the syllabus
Issue of semestral reports
Coordination of subjects
General administrative data

Quality

Aiming to guarantee the highest quality in the topics offered, the Master in Photovoltaic Solar Energy counts on a Quality Assurance Internal System and a ruled procedure for logging complaints, claims and suggestions.

The Quality Assurance Internal System (SIGC for the Spanish “Sistema Interno de Garantía de Calidad”) is based on the currently operative at the ETSI Telecomunicación, approved by the Spanish National Quality Assessment and Accreditation Agency (ANECA) in the framework of the AUDIT Program (Certificate No.: UCR 127/10).

Procedures for data acquisition and evaluation of results of the programs, information on the responsible bodies and persons and publication of all related information, are well defined in the SIGC.

In this sense, a sub-committee dealing with quality issues associated with the Master has been nominated by the CAP. In the current academic year, this sub-committee is composed of the following members:
