Health in the City’s Autumn Course is a space for dialogue to discuss possible solutions to unmet needs in health care. Representatives of all the agents involved in the health ecosystem meet with students from different specialties, not only engineering.
Through a short series of presentations, the students and also the speakers will get to know the different points of view of doctors, patients, managers, administration and technology providers.
The students, working in small groups, will offer proposals to search for new solutions that involve emerging technologies, which will be initially discussed with the panel to refine them through a first round of presentations. Those proposals will be refined and completed offline internally within the groups with their mentors, and finally presented to the panel in the second round of presentations, with the aim of obtaining well-defined ideas in the form of proposals for new innovation projects, research or translation.
