“Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think”

Cruz-Mazo is a member of the Department of Mechanical, Chemical, and Industrial Design Engineering at ETSIDI, where he contributes in the following courses of the fluid mechanics knowledge area:

Course of Fluid Mechanics “Mecánica de Fluidos”
This is a common compulsory subject for ETSIDI degrees as an introductory course in fluid mechanics. Cruz-Mazo coordinates this course in the Degree of Chemical Engineering (Fall term) and also teaches it in the Degree of Electronics Engineering (Spring term).

Course of CFD “Finite element-based simulation model for fluid dynamics”
This is an optional subject taught in the English language and offered in the spring term as part of the International Semester of ETSIDI. It is also officially part of the Degree of Engineering Design and Product Development, and is coordinated by Prof. Yolanda Doce. This is an advanced undergraduate course in fluid dynamics where we go deeper into fluid concepts and get familiar with CFD tools for proper modeling and simulation of typical fluid dynamics phenomena involved in engineering design.
