DESCRIPCION:

• GRUPO OMEGA DE NUTRICION ANIMAL, empresa nacional con sede en Madrid del sector agroalimentario, destinada a la fabricación de premezclas de aditivos y piensos complementarios para nutrición animal, precisa contratar a un recién Graduado Agronómico en el puesto de Técnico de Soporte de Laboratorio, para dar soporte a los departamentos de laboratorio y calidad de la empresa.

FUNCIONES:

• Soporte laboratorio:
  • Recepción y registro de muestras.
  • Toma de muestras y control de muestroteca (materia prima y producto acabado).
  • Contacto con laboratorios externos.
  • Interpretación y comunicación de resultados.
  • Realización de pruebas internas (análisis mediante tecnología NIRS, perfil granulométrico, detección de micotoxinas, fabricaciones piloto, etc.).
• Soporte calidad:
  • Gestión y soporte documental (mantenimiento de documentación de proveedores y materias primas).
  • Comunicación con proveedores.
  • Seguimiento y registro de no-conformidades.
  • Mantenimiento y revisión del manual de calidad de la empresa. Revisión y actualización de procedimientos, instrucciones de trabajo, registros, etc.
  • Redacción de documentación técnica (actualizaciones legislativas, comunicaciones a clientes, infografías técnicas, etc.).

REQUISITOS:

• Formación: Recién graduados o estudiantes de último curso de los Grados de Veterinaria, Ingeniería Agronómica, Ciencia y Tecnología de los Alimentos, Química o titulaciones similares.

CARACTERISTICAS DEL PUESTO:

• Tipo de contrato: Temporal, con una duración de 3 a 6 meses prorrogables.
• Horario: Lunes a viernes de 08:00h a 15:00h.

DESCRIPTION:

• We are pleased to announce the opening of a contract position for the development of a Ph.D. thesis as part of a research project titled “Genomic characterisation of Andalusian wine grape varieties to trace their domestication history and future genetic improvement (GENOVINES).”
• This project aims to unravel the genetic makeup of Andalusian wine grape varieties, shed light on their domestication history, and pave the way for future genetic improvement in the context of climate change. The duration of the contract is set to four years.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

• Genetic origin: Investigate the genetic origins of the main autochthonous grapevine varieties of the Iberian Peninsula, with a focus on Andalusia, through the analysis of genomic data.
• Signature of human-mediated selection: Identify signatures of human-mediated selection in ancient local varieties and trace the presence of wild grapevine genes in their genomes. Detect and study genomic regions transferred from wild to cultivated vines.
• Agronomic traits: Identify the genes responsible for the agronomic traits observed in the extensive Rancho de la Merced grapevine collection, the second largest diversity panel in Spain, located in the historic Jerez winemaking region. Emphasis will be placed on understanding the genes activated or deactivated during the ripening process.
• We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with a keen interest in the fields of evolutionary biology, genomics, bioinformatics, statistics, and oenology.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a related field.
• Previous experience in the R statistical environment.
• B2 level of English.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel within Spain and abroad for meetings and national/international conferences.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform data mining and prospecting of sales targets in the ag/food business: R&D, Sales Managers, Scientists, etc. Build a library of companies of interest.
• Support all facets of the sales cycle, including lead identification, qualification, and initial contact.
• Funnel and manage incoming leads (responses, CRM registration, follow-up, redirection to the sales team, etc.).
• Support Sales team in follow-up and contact with attendees to our webinars, website visitors, and more inbound pipeline of warm leads.
• Administration and CRM optimization for sales representatives when needed to secure and speed the follow up.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to create the most effective and tailored presentations and materials needed for client meetings, lead meetings with some clients.

YOU HAVE:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year progressive experience in related disciplines (e.g. sales or customer service, marketing, account management).
• Ability to collect/aggregate data, perform analysis, identify insights, and make detailed recommendations and presentations.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse personality styles.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
