Turbomachinery for Advanced Power Cycles

The project seeks the advance in CSP and hybrid solar-fossil fuelled power plants through the development, at low TRL, of 4 power cycles. Hybridization is conceived to introduce synergies leading to reach higher efficiencies and lower LCOE. UPM oversees the design of some specific components for the 4 power cycles, specifically the design of turbomachinery for real gases.
