“Proyecto MID” is born from the Public Call for Grants 2021 for the implementation of research projects in the field of international cooperation for development and education for sustainable development and global citizenship.

OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the potential of the innovative methodology of mass digital literacy TechPeopleCare, individual and without teachers, to solve the problem of social exclusion currently suffered in cities, where the risk of digital and social exclusion is increasing for those people who do not know how to use new technologies (people at risk of social exclusion, elderly people, etc.).

STUDY: MID project aims to carry out a study of the municipal interest in digital literacy, to carry out pilots in different infrastructures related to the public management of this need (day centres, private companies that manage homes for the elderly, NGOs, etc.) and to provide as a result of this project the evaluation of a different municipal alternative to manage the massive digital literacy of the citizenship and thus bring the most vulnerable sectors closer to the new technologies.

FUNDING: €49,969.66 obtained in the “Public call for grants 2021 for the implementation of research projects in the field of international cooperation for development and education for sustainable development and global citizenship” of the Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
