Our mission is to advance current technologies and biomaterials used in thoracic surgery, specifically for lung sealing during medical interventions. The project aims to deliver meaningful contributions to patient care and surgical outcomes.

As a PhD student, you will gain hands-on experience through a diverse range of research activities, such as:
- Biomechanical analysis
- Material design and development
- Biomaterial production
- Mechanical testing
- In vitro experimentation
- Microstructural and histological analysis
We are looking for motivated graduates from areas such as:
- Materials Science and Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering or related fields
- Biomedical Engineering
- Other scientific or technical disciplines
