    What is current occupation?

I am currently doing my PhD at the Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid. In particular, studying hybrid devices of thin films and two-dimensional materials.

How has the Master impacted your career?

The master’s degree has allowed me to understand and deepen my understanding of solar cells, as well as to gain experience in the laboratory through the characterization and fabrication of devices. It has also opened doors for me to work both in research and in private companies.

What aspect of the Master did you like more?

My favorite aspect was the practical part of the master, where I was able to understand and apply the knowledge learned in class. The labs both in the systems and the devices part are useful in order to consolidate concepts and have a more realistic view of the work.

How do you perceive the future of the photovoltaic technology?

The photovoltaic industry has grown exponentially in recent years and is expected to continue to do so. The industry needs experts in the field in order to further develop this sector and this is one of the few masters that offer such a detailed specialization in photovoltaics.
