PVlite

PVlite is a simulator of photovoltaic (PV) systems, which allows the simulation of different PV applications, such as grid-connected PV systems, including self-consumption, and off-grid applications for rural electrification, such as stand-alone and water pumping PV systems.

The source code of PVlite, for MatLab and Octave, the description of PVlite models and the user’s manual can be downloaded from the following links.

PVspice

PVspice is a symbol library of PV components for PSpice that allows the simulation of stand-alone PV systems, which is intended to be a complement to the traditional physical laboratory in undergraduate photovoltaic engineering courses.

The PVspice library, the user’s guide, and other relevant documents, as well a student version of the PSpice simulator, can be downloaded from the following links.
