The HERCCULES team would like to thank all our sponsors and collaborators for all support of the project and the team!

The main sponsor would be the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, through the IDR Institute and the STRAST group. ETSIAE (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Aeronáutica y del Espacio) collabore with the project, both in events and financially.

This project has been partially funded by

Operación Avanzada de Pequeños Satélites (OAPES)

Programa de actividades de investigación Y2020/NMT-6427

The scope of activity of the program is the advanced operation of small satellites, oriented towards the automation through AI of constellations of cooperative satellites. The focus of the work is based on the use of self-updating physical models from a dynamic database, and on the integration of automatically generated software.

OAPES-CM (Y2020/NMT-6427) is one of the synergistic R&D projects financed by the Community of Madrid, in new and emerging scientific areas on the frontier of science and of an interdisciplinary nature.

This work has been supported by Grant PID2021-125325OB-C53 funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and, as appropriate, by “ERDF A way of making Europe”.

The REXUS/BEXUS programme is realised under a bilateral Agency Agreement between the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the Swedish National Space Board (SNSB). The Swedish share of the payload has been made available to students from other European countries through the collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA).

Experts from DLR, SSC, ZARM and ESA provide technical support to the student teams throughout the project. EuroLaunch, the cooperation between the Esrange Space Center of SSC and the Mobile Rocket Base (MORABA) of DLR, is responsible for the campaign management and operations of the launch vehicles.

Additionally we are supported by the following companies as collaborators of the project:

BHDynamics is an electronics company awarded with some national prices as the most innovative start-up at national level. It collaborates with the Instituto Catalán de Nanociencia y Nanotecnología (ICN2), some research institutes and universities. They would help us with the electronics design and manufacturing.

Geónica, with more than 40 years of experience, is a company which design, manufacture, install and maintain Automatic Weather Stations, Systems and Measurement Networks with Data Transmission, Images and Alarms in Real Time for Environmental Monitoring. They would help us with the environmental sensors acquisition.
