THE BUSINESS VISION

• Kora Agrilab is a young R&D company focused agriculture and digitalization. We blend expertise in agronomy, soil science, modeling, remote sensing, artificial intelligence and blockchain to promote more efficient, circular and sustainable food systems.
• We are currently entering the carbon farming market and look for someone to lead the process.

THE CANDIDATE

• If you are a result-centered person who can push forward your own agenda, that is the attitude we need.
• If you prefer to execute than analyze, keep reading.
• If you have an understanding of voluntary carbon markets and a desire to make an impact in the current climate crisis, we might have something for you.
• If you also have experience in CDM methodologies, LCA linked to GHG emissions, carbon markets and offsets trading, we would definitely like to hear from you.

THE JOB

• At Kora Agrilab we love what we do and we have fun doing it. So first, we do not want a simple job applicant, but someone who can align with our vision and purpose. Yet, the position to be covered is initially tight to a EU funding to develop digital solutions to help Mediterranean smallholders access financial benefits linked to climate smart practices.
• Therefore, the selected candidate will have to:
  • Work with rural hubs in designing tailored carbon offsetting schemes;
  • Develop the schemes toward recognized certification standards;
  • Collaborate with scientists and digital programmers for developing suitable MRVs.
• However, how the role and responsibilities will evolve following these initial tasks will really depend on the candidate decisions and performance.

THE CONDITIONS:

• Kora Agrilab is based in Murcia, Spain, and the candidate is required to initially mingle with the rest of the staff in the headquarters. For anything else, we are happy to negotiate the conditions that work best for you.
• Salary: 35-45,000 €/year
