The composition of the building expresses the idea of fragmented and
dynamic. The fundamental tension in the composition lies in the dualism of mass
and volume. Beige massive block embodies the core archetype—stability, material
continuity and autonomy of the segments.
It is in direct contrast with the cantilevered glass projections, which represent tectonic,
dynamic and multiplicity. The role of volume here is paradigmatic, treating the void as an
active, rather than a residual, element. Although the building appears to operate freely, the
primary geometric order is established through the geometric grids of the modular glass
framework which reticule serves as a modul and regulating lines. The repetition of
equivalent glass boxses establishes a clear visual rhythm and ensures control of proportions despite the complexity. The key tension between the mass of the core and the light protruding cubes lies in irregularity and negative space. The use of reflective glass and layering results in relative clarity, where the form is suggested by the interaction of light and depth. Elements maintain their integrity within the configuration, and dark frames and visible transitions serve as clear articulation element.
The recession of the ground floors creates a covered pedestrian space pushing the upper
composition into the foreground. The vertical expansion disrupts the traditional street line.
The facade employs a technique in which the vision changes as the observer moves,
actively disrupting the typical static nature of the massive corner and requiring a ‘recorrido’
(path/route) for the full experience.
