  • Jessica Díaz (orcid.org/0000-0001-6738-9370) is an associate professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (E.T.S. Ingeniería de Sistemas Informáticos, UPM), Spain. She received her PhD degree in Computer Science from UPM in 2012 and the best thesis Award in Computer Science in that course. Since 2003, she is a researcher in System and Software Technology Research Group (SYST). Since then, she is participating in several national and international projects related to Software Engineering and ICT on cyber-physical systems, such as Smart Grids, Smart Buildings, etc. Her research interests are focused on software architectures, software product lines (SPL), agile software development (ASD), software evolution, and model-driven development (MDD). Currently she is researching about DevOps culture and practice in industry and qualitative data analysis methods.

Jorge Pérez (orcid.org/0000-0003-3349-6017) received the B.S. degree in computer science from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, in 2004. From 1993 to 1997, he was a Secretary of the Faculty of Computer Sciences, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, and from 2007 to 2014, he was the Headmaster of the Department of Applied Computer Science, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Since 1985, he has been also an Associate Professor with the same university. He is the coordinator of the DMAE-DIA educational innovation group and the Competencies and Active Learning in Engineering Education research group. He has taken part in the creation of several syllabuses for both grades and postgraduates and has supervised many research projects about educational innovation in engineering. Dr. Pérez is a recipient of several awards from the Rector of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid for educational innovation at the university. His research interests are focused on Software Architectures and modeling and and qualitative data analysis methods .

Ángel González-Prieto (orcid.org/0000-0003-2326-6752) studied a Double B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Sciencies, as well as a M.Sc. in Mathematics and Applications, at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He received a PhD. in Mathematical Research in 2018 from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, with a thesis entitled “Topological Quantum Field Theories for Character Varieties”. He has conducted research stays at the universities of Oxford and Plymouth, and has been invited speaker at the universities of Cambridge, Oxford and Vienna, among others. He was Severo Ochoa post-doctoral fellow at Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas (CSIC) and, since 2018, he is Teaching Assistant (Ayudante) at ETSI de Sistemas Informáticos at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
His research interest is focused on algebraic geometry, algebraic topology and theoretical physics; as well as on the application of geometric techniques to machine learning and dimensional reduction. We is also interested in the application of statistical techniques to software engineering.

Daniel López Fernández is Software Engineer graduate and Software & Systems PhD from the UPM. He is also Coaching and Emotional Intelligence master from UCJC. Regarding his experience, it is worth noting that he has taught agile methods in several universities and has researched and provide training about agile methods in multinational companies. Currently, he work as teacher and researcher at UPM. His main research interests include the study and application of agile methodologies and DevOps culture and practices in professional environments.
